Huffman's Chameleon Positions
I had not wanted to mention our opponent ever during this campaign and concentrate solely on ourselves and what we are going to do.
But when he is funding his entire campaign with special interest and lobbyist money, and we are relying upon Highlands Ranch residents, it is difficult to not point that out.
And we have to point out when he treats political positions like an etch-a-sketch and changes completely to say anything to get elected.
This isn't just emphasizing different points already held before the primary in the general election. Our opponent completely whitewashed and sanitized the entire platform of positions he had in order to win the primary as a far right extremist.
That is not the type of leadership we need in the legislature. No matter what your political stripes are, it is this chameleon-like behavior that gives all politics a bad name.
So this week's HR Herald ad points out the change from the extreme positions are opponent held in June to what he says his focus is now.
