Arrived last night in Warsaw. German passport police gave me the third degree and I almost missed my flight in Munich. Guess it's flattering they thought I looked like a "person of concern." Thought the only issues would be with Polish customs explaining the new phones and solar generators. But no one around at all at the customs point. Luft lost luggage. (That is called "alliteration" - I know that thanks to English teacher Ms. Beatty). So glad I planned to overnight at the Chopin Airport Marriott. Felt like a rube, however, asking information where it was and the guy pointed across the street behind me. (Very convenient). Have been asked to do video blog. Not my thing, but may force myself. So we'll see. Need to pick up car and head to the border. T-Mobile seems to work better here than in the states. Of course, this is right at the airport. So we'll see once I get away from Warsaw. (On the flight in, city skyline was interesting. Several large modern skyscrapers in the center, but city ringed with what looks like communist era identical apartment buildings).
