On November 14, 2021, I sent a lengthy email with a great deal of links and documentation to the DougCo County Commissioners. This was regarding some very concerning behavior and a questionable background of Jogan Health, who the new DougCo Board of Health (created and administered by the County Commissioners) had just given millions of dollars in contracts for Covid-19 services when they blew up the TriCounty Health Department.
A few months later, a disturbing story regarding Jogan Health aired on Denver7 News. This time it was because they were failing to pay their nurses. I contacted the reporter at Denver7 and provided him the information that I had gathered earlier. The reporter (Bayan Wang) discovered A LOT of additional information when he began looking into Jogan Health, including how Jogan LIED about having performed work for other health departments (all three of their "references" had never heard of them). The State of Colorado stopped providing Jogan any further work in January. Even with that backgroun, our County Commissioners and Board of Health recently awarded a multimillion-dollar contract extension up for Jogan. Why?!?!
Below is a follow up email I sent to the BoH and BoCC on Jun 19 with a link to the reporter's story...which I do not think will be the end of the investigation/report...
Dear BoH and BoCC: Please view the Denver7 News investigative report aired tonight which can be found in below link below that runs from 3:10-10:50.
I brought to your attention more than six months ago a great deal of disturbing information regarding Jogan Health and its owner. Not only did the BoH or BoCC not express any interest regarding these concerns, but recently the BoCC put a multi-million dollar contract extension for this shady business and its ethically and legally challenged owner.
Please note that the state of Colorado cut off any further contract or work with Jogan back in January due to its incompetence and questionable business practices. Yet DougCo's Commissioners and amateur Board of Health continues to tolerate this shady business for public health matters.
Why?
Does it have anything to do with Jogan being a local contractor who bought a 22000 square foot home in Parker for millions of dollars?
Jogan did not have ANY of the experience they claimed in contracting for public health. What vetting did DougCo do on it before handing it multimillion dollar contracts? And were these sole bid or by name contracts?
Please understand that there is A LOT more concerning information regarding Jogan that Mr. Wang has not published or yet aired.
So please take this into consideration in doing your public duties rather than serving private interests. Thanks.
Very Respectfully,
Bob Marshall
